About
This one-day workshop builds on the knowledge gained from 16PF® qualifying training and develops the skills and experience needed to use the instrument as part of a selection or assessment programme.
Practical simulation exercises are used to provide the knowledge and confidence to use the 16PF questionnaire in all aspects of talent identification.

Content
Delegates will learn how to:
- Match competencies to the 16 primary factors
- Incorporate evidence from the 16PF data and feedback session with evidence from other parts of the assessment programme
- Avoid the pitfalls occasionally encountered when using personality questionnaires in recruitment and assessment
- Interpret profiles completed by candidates who have consciously distorted their responses and manage this in a feedback session
- Use the instrument to identify areas that need to be probed further at a structured interview
- Share outcomes of the completed questionnaire with assessors who have little or no knowledge or experience of personality questionnaires Use OPPassessment in recruitment and assessment, including online administration, interview prompts and campaign management
Prerequisites
To attend this workshop you must have successfully completed one of the following:
- 16PF qualifying workshop
- 16PF conversion workshop
- Level B workshop with OPP
No formal interviewing or assessment centre qualifications are required, although some familiarity with competency frameworks and assessment centres may be helpful.
