About

This three-day course qualifies you to administer and interpret the CPI 260® instrument.

It is suitable for:

• Human resource, training and personnel professionals
• Line managers
• Counsellors
• Anyone who has certification in psychometric tools and feedback skills such as Level A or MBTI® qualifications and wishes to also use the CPI instrument in their work.

Steps to successful completion of the programme:

• Demonstrate competence in practical work and fieldwork following the workshop

Content

Using a mix of exercises, small group work, lectures and presentations, the workshop explores:

• Introduction to the scales
• Analysis of participants' profiles
• Construction and development of the questionnaire
• Reliability and validity
• Scoring, interpretation and feedback of results
• Type versus trait
• Feedback and interpretation skills
• Contracting and administration issues
• Ethical issues

Prerequisites

You will be expected to complete the following in advance of the course:

• Complete the CPI questionnaire
• Work through study materials covering the basic concepts in personality assessment
